Negative brand messages + Bonus Design Tip

Search Twitter for Positive / Negative brand messages + Bonus Design Tip You have a brand, and like many other brands you are on Twitter. You may be using and reporting on some sort of Twitter analytics for a few $s a month? But do you  look at your Twitter for positive / negative brand messages? Your clients or customers can either tweet positively, negatively or some tweets that are statements with no intent but sharing. And you can find (for FREE) positive and negative emotions users have share about your brand on Twitter. Twitter Advanced Search This is a powerful, but a little bit time consuming tool to use. It is in-built in Twitter and available for FREE. You can use Twitter Advanced Search to find the exact words / phrases used or even hashtags and chose the language as well, if you are a multilingual / multinational brand. You can use Twitter advanced search to find positive and negative messages shared by users on Twitter.  Tweet This.  It is basic, yes, but by simply making use of the icon ?? and analysing the language it can show up the tweets you need to look at right away because negativity spreads! Get playing with this tool. p.s. Not to mention you can use the same tool to analyse your competitors and use it to capture a few leads and new customers. BONUS TIP Heres a small bonus tip for you. When you reply to a user , if you begin by using the twitter handle then only that person sees the tweet, your users wont see it in their timeline. For e.g. when I reply to the below  tweet by Career Geek What is BYOD and its growing influence on businesses http://t.co/OBWioPAmqM via @freeman_faiz #BYOD â€" Career Geek (@Career_Geek) September 19, 2014 I can reply by clicking on the reply button and it shows up the twitter handle by default at the start. This will only show up in Career_Geek timeline and my followers wont see this appear in their timeline. In some cases you want this. And twitter argues that a conversation between people doesnt necessarily have to be broadcast to every one. However, if you are a brand and want to showcase your conversations then use the reply function carefully. Tweet This. Simply add something before the twitter handle and it will be visible to all. Like this. And thats it for this post. I only recently came to know of these and thought it was worth sharing. If you know of any other tips or tricks do comment below please. 1

3 Tips to planning the best fishing trip

3 Tips to planning the best fishing trip There is nothing like going on a fishing trip with your buddies. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of work and home life can be a great break from the stress that can occur from daily life. In fact, research shows that those who take time to enjoy themselves in nature are happier and live a healthier life than those who do not. Whether you plan to go fishing with your friend’s from high school, dad, son, or your wife, this article will provide some helpful tips to planning the best fishing trip. Additional helpful tips and information can be found at Corsettis Guide Service. Consider hiring a guide. When you hire a guide, you are guaranteeing that you will be going on an adventure with someone who is an expert of the area and in fishing. They are often so knowledgeable that they know the best places to fish and how the fish will respond at any given time throughout the day or night. When hiring a guide, be sure to look for one that you will be able to keep up with. If you hire an expert guide, they will want to fish out of an inflatable boat. If you are not comfortable in doing so, consider hiring a lifestyle guide who will be able to enjoy fishing with you at whatever skill level you are at. They may even provide you with some helpful tips. Locate a great body of water. If you plan to go out on a fishing trip without hiring a guide, you will need to do some research on the best body of water to fish in. Some bodies of water may not have an abundance of fish making it a challenge to catch anything. This can be disappointing so you will want to make sure that whatever body of water you choose to fish in, is known for having a variety of plentiful fish. The best time of day to catch fish is either early in the morning around 4 or 5am or later in the evening after the sun has gone down. Fishing when everyone else in the world is asleep can be relaxing and a serene experience. Pack the essentials. Before you set out on your trip, you will want to make sure that you pack all of the essentials that you will be needing on your trip. If you plan to camp during your trip instead of staying in a cabin or hotel, you will need to make sure that you have all the supplies needed to have a good night of sleep out in the wilderness. Be sure to pack canned food that you can make over the fire in a pot that you pack. You may want to consider packing some toiletry items as well unless you do not think that you will find a bath house to shower in. Other things that you should remember to pack include but are not limited to sunscreen, water, clothing, blankets, and fishing accessories like sticky baits,  fishing rods and tackle kits.

A Guide to Office Parties for Introverts CareerMetis.com

A Guide to Office Parties for Introverts â€" CareerMetis.com Office parties are an accumulation of a number of things that introverts don’t particularly like.Crowded spaces, small talk with acquaintances and potentially meeting new people is exhausting for anyone with an introverted personality, but this doesn’t mean you can’t have a good time! There are useful introvert’s guides for work gatheringsavailable online which will give you some pointers on how to best go about these tricky events. If you have an office party coming up and the thought of it is making you nervous, firstly remember that there is a good chance that it is not an obligatory event! If you really can’t stand the thought of attending, it is important to put yourself first, even if what is best for you means not attending the gathering.evalHowever, while work parties can be extremely tedious and require a lot of precious energy, they do have their benefits. These social occasions provide a great excuse to get to know your colleagues who you wouldn’t usually get to speak to, which can boost your motivation and productivity in the workplace. This could even make the next office party a little less daunting!Showing your face at the office party will also mean that you are a more prominent name in the company, allowing people to understand your role and turn to you for help if needed. This has an added benefit of meaning that when promotions or other beneficial opportunities arise, your name will already be known to key decision makers. So, if you want to join in the festive fun but feel as though you need a little preparation, there are some tips and tricks that you can employ which might make the event run more smoothly. One of the most useful tips to follow, is to arrive at the party on time with a group of colleagues who you feel comfortable with. While the expression is ‘fashionably late,’ arriving at the event when everyone else is already settled will make it harder to break into groups and conversations â€" which is the last thing you want.Arriving with a group of trusted colleagues will also mean that you already have a select few people to bounce conversation off of, which is helpful if you are dreading any awkward silences. It will also mean that when you want to take a break from speaking, there are people to fill in the gaps! While that is a good start, there are plenty more ways to set yourself up to have a good time. Follow the tips below, and you’ll be partying the night away to your heart’s content.Infographic Credit â€" simplybe.co.uk
